Statement of Evangelical Adherence

We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are granted eternal security. We trust only Christ for salvation, no act, no actions, no penance no punishment could ever replace the gift of eternal life that God has granted us through our faith in Christ.
Scripture references: Matthew 1:23; John 1:1–4, 1:29; Acts 1:11; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Philippians 2:5–11

The Church

We believe the church is all who are in Christ; those who have accepted Christ are adopted into the family of God and are filled with the Holy Spirit. As a called-out community we are a chosen instrument of God’s self-revelation to the world. As members of this Church we are obligated to support its growth utilizing our personal strengths that are the gifts God has bestowed upon us.

Scripture references: 1 Corinthians 12:12, 27; Ephesians 1:22–23

The Bible

We affirm that the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God in its original manuscripts. It is God’s revelation of His love and truth to humanity.

Scripture references: 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15–17; John 3:16

The Nature of God

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Scripture references: Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4–6

Salvation

We believe that all people are lost without Christ and under God’s judgment. Salvation is found only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. Eternal life is promised to the righteous, while the unrighteous face eternal separation from God.

Scripture references: John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:4–7

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present work of the Holy Spirit who dwells in all believers, empowering them to live lives that reflect God’s holiness and truth.

Scripture references: John 3:5–8; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:16–18; Ephesians 6:12

Resurrection and Judgment

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life and the lost to eternal judgment.

Scripture references: 1 Corinthians 15:51–57; Revelation 20:11–15

Evangelism and Discipleship

We believe that every believer is called to share the Gospel and make disciples, helping others grow in spiritual maturity and obedience to Christ.

Scripture references: Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9–15; 1 Peter 3:15

Marriage and Human Sexuality

We affirm that marriage is a covenant between one biological man and one biological woman, created by God as the foundation for the family and human society. Sexual expression is designed by God to occur within this marital union.

Scripture references: Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5–6; Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9

Christian Living and Mission

We commit to lives of prayer, service, evangelism, and surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ. As followers of Christ, we are called to be His hands and feet in the world.

Scripture references: Matthew 22:37–39; Romans 10:9–15; Galatians 6:10; Colossians 2:6–10

The Sanctity of Life

We believe that every human life is sacred from conception to natural death. We are called to uphold the value of life and care for the physical and spiritual needs of others.

Scripture references: Psalm 139:13; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37–39; Galatians 6:10

God’s Design for Sex

We believe God creates each person as either male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image of God. To reject one’s biological sex is to reject God’s intentional and loving design.

Scripture references: Genesis 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Deuteronomy 22:5
