Christine Chapman

Human Resources Partner

Chris is an experienced and certified human resources and coaching professional who is passionate about helping individuals and organizations realize their full potential through strategic HR solutions and impactful coaching methodologies. Her diverse and accomplished background spans both public and private sectors, from startups and non-profits to large-scale global enterprises.

Chris’ journey into human resources began in higher education, where she worked for public and private institutions as a leader in residence life. She next transitioned to recruiting and then again into broader human resources roles, spending over a decade at a global pharmaceutical company. There, she supported business teams in North America and Europe in strategic HR initiatives.

During her tenure, Chris excelled in talent and performance management, employee relations, process improvement, and organizational design. She also trained leaders in a formal coaching program across five different continents.

In 2017 Chris launched her own practice as an independent HR consultant, helping a diverse array of clients and individuals, from pharmaceutical companies to hospitals, IT firms, and mechanical contractors. Most recently, she led HR operations at a nonprofit organization to provide operational and strategic solutions at 11 locations.

Chris met In His Name HR CEO and founder Mark Griffin through the C3N career support ministry at LCBC Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she supported career explorers through résumé writing, job search, and interview processes. As of June 2024, she now applies her extensive expertise to helping our clients with her unique blend of HR and coaching skills.

Her years of experience in employee relations investigations, including Title IX are especially appreciated.

Chris holds a Master of Science in counseling, with a specialization in higher education from West Chester University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Cabrini College. She and her husband enjoy everything about the outdoors. Visiting national parks, fishing, watching the changing colors in a sunset: They’re all appealing.

When not traveling, they help lead Bible study groups at their church. And they’re always busy keeping up with their five young adult and college age children.
